The Ariege is mostly an mountainous region, and in the winter months it becomes a Mecca for beginner and skilled skiiers.
There are 10 ski stations with over 334 kms of runs between them, but the Ariege is not just limited to downhill skiing though, go cross country skiing, take a Husky trip and build your own igloos or walk these beautiful mountains with Snowshoes.
There are also stunning guest houses ready to pamper you with regional dishes and open fires after your day of icy action
